How Clarvia works

Your voice guides the process.

  • Begin with your goals, preferences, communication needs and choices.
  • Clarify whether the requested support fits Clarvia's qualifications and service scope.
  • Agree on practical, collaborative goals and review them together.
  • Seek your informed consent before working with family members, coordinators or other professionals.
  • Make referrals elsewhere when another provider or clinical service would better meet your needs.

Professional background

Relevant experience, described accurately.

Shree has completed Psychology Honours studies and is registered with Ahpra as a nurse. Her background includes more than five years of healthcare experience across mental health, acute and emergency settings, alcohol and other drug support, and previous disability support work.

Professional scope: Shree is not a registered psychologist and Clarvia does not represent its services as psychology services. Exact qualifications, registration details, insurance and funded-service scope must be confirmed during suitability review.

Appointments

Flexible delivery where appropriate.

Appointments are predominantly offered online across appropriate Australian service areas. Selected mobile appointments in Melbourne may be available by arrangement, subject to location, suitability, safety and scheduling.

Communication preferences and reasonable adjustments can be discussed before an appointment. Clarvia will be transparent when an access need falls outside what the service can safely provide.

NDIS registration & funding

Clear information before services begin.

Clarvia is not an NDIS-registered provider. Enquiries may only proceed where the service, participant circumstances, plan management arrangements, practitioner scope, insurance and current NDIS requirements are compatible.

Participants with NDIA-managed funding must use registered providers. Self-managed or plan-managed participants can usually choose unregistered providers for eligible non-regulated supports, but each support and funding arrangement still needs to be checked.

Private counselling and disability-related funded supports are not the same service. A counselling appointment is not automatically claimable from an NDIS plan, and Clarvia does not guarantee funding approval or reimbursement. Participants and referrers should confirm requirements with the plan manager, support coordinator or NDIA as applicable before relying on plan funds.
